Event Horizon - Gravitational Looper

A gravitational looper that captures fragments of incoming sound and draws them into an evolving system of orbits, collisions, and eventual destruction.
Recorded phrases travel inward through successive zones, changing speed, direction, and spatial position as they approach the centre.
Along the way, encounters can send sounds into unexpected trajectories, split them into altered descendants, or leave ghostly remnants that return long after their apparent disappearance.
Incoming audio feeds the system and influences its gravitational pull, making every performance part of the machinery that transforms it.
Watch your sounds circle the drain in the animated display, and listen as familiar phrases become an increasingly unfamiliar conversation with their own remains.
Occasionally, the black hole gives something back.
