Silent Demos is a collection of mostly unreleased tracks and sketches recorded by Coast between 1996 and 1998, primarily using 4-track cassette and ADAT setups.
Some songs feature vocals, others drift instrumentally, but all share the fragile magic of being caught in progress.
These are not finished statements — they’re musical photographs, taken mid-thought:

A chord progression waiting for words
A melody looping until the tape runs out
A vocal take recorded too late at night to wake the neighbors

A handful of tracks are newer re-recordings, fleshing out older material without losing the original warmth and wear. But even those carry the quiet melancholy of unfinished ideas — the kind that linger long after the tape stops rolling.

This isn’t an album that shouts. But it is brutally honest. We all start off somewhere right?
